MANNUTHY




Mannuthy is a very important suburb area of Thrissur City of Kerala, south India and very famous for large number of 'Plant Nurseries'. Its only 5 km from Swaraj Round. Mannuthy is one of major stopover destination in Kerala. Its strategic location (en route to Palakkad and on the junction of Thrissur Bypass) on National Highway NH47. The climate and soil of Mannuthy is said to be very fertile and possibly is the reason for a large number of 'Nurseries' (gardens where plants are for sale) present.Mannuthy is also a center for many of the government and private educational institutions. Among the famous few are the College of Veterinary and Animal sciences, College of Dairy Science and Technology, Agricultural Research Station . The fact that the Agricultural University at Vellanikara (only 3 km away) is added advantage to Mannuthy's growing economy and prosperity.Wildlife Sanctuary near Peechi and Vazhani dams is only 10 km away from Mannuthy.
